Invocation of Sovereignty

For the one who is done dimming, apologizing, or waiting for someone else to understand.

I call back every fragment of myself ever handed over, swallowed, or scattered in the name of peace.

I no longer decorate my cage and call it love.

I dissolve the contracts that asked me to abandon myself in exchange for closeness.

I renounce the systems that rewarded my silence and punished my truth.

I do not exist to be easy to love.

I exist to be whole.

I revoke permission from all who have feasted on my empathy without ever feeding me back.

I revoke the pedestal, the mirror, the scapegoat costume.

I reclaim my fire, not to burn bridges—

but to light the path back to myself.

May my presence now be a boundary.

May my truth now be the altar.

I do not need permission to be sovereign.

I only need remembrance.

And I remember now.

🜁

It is done.

So it is.

So I am.
